The Ocicat.

For years and years I have been charmed by the spotted shorthairs like the Bengal, the Egyptian Mau and the Ocicat, especially the silvers.

Since a little while I am the proud care taker of my first Ocicat girl. This girl came to live here almost by accident, I followed the litter she came out off and she and her brothers got under my skin.

This picture did it for me :-)

Below I will introduce her to You.

Name : Arlene van Zebdaj (aka Cheeta)

Colour : lilac silver tabby spotted (cs 24)

Born : May 1st, 2010

Dad : Ch. S* Junglespot Solano (cs 24)

Mom : Ch. Escoburg's Zsazsa Gabor of Zebdaj (bs 24)

Cheeta, as she is called here, does her name justice. She looks like a mini cheeta and has the speed to prove it. Cheeta felt right at home here and is very close with my burmese girls. But she has absolutely no respect for my Maine Coons, actually for non of my cats. But the Maine Coons are very fun to play with, because they are a lot bigger, slower and much easier to catch.

Cheeta has been to her first show, together with her burmese friends and her big friend Onyx. You can find her showresults here.

More photo's of Cheeta.

Henk and Wiljo, thanks so much for this great girl! My dream came true.
